Make a Ring with Meritmade

Not any sooner than our friends at The Little Craft Show wrapped up their spring show that they are bringing something else to delight us.  This time it's Make A Ring With Meritmade. Meritmade is Kelly Conner of Kansas City. I had a chance to talk to her on the phone today and she gave me the scoop.

This is happening on two days: Friday and Saturday, June 16 and 17 at The Hatchery, in Springdale. It's 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.  Tickets are $175 (you get to keep what you make) and seating is very limited. There are six left for Friday and only two left for Saturday.

Kelly was a pleasure to talk to and I am sure she will be fun in person. Meritmade's website is www.meritmadekc.com/workshop. Have a look at the website for more information.

Oklahoma Renaissance Festival

If this sort of thing is for you,it runs through June 4th. I looked at their website

and their days, hours and prices are all over the map. I have been to one Renaissance fair in my life: It was in Fayetteville and it was not good, However, if you want more information, their number is 800-439-0658. I would highly recommend calling first  It is in Muskogee, OK.
